Paul Mitchell P.G.A Head Golf Professional
Paul has been part of the Bristol & Clifton team for 14 years now, firstly as assistant and as head professional since 2002. As a coach, Paul is fully qualified and has completed many PGA courses to keep his knowledge up to date. His enthusiasm and commitment towards teaching has helped to make him one of the most sought after coaches in the area. As one of the Gloucestershire junior coaches, Paul has the responsibility of developing future county stars. One success story from this system is Chris Wood, who after a glittering amateur career has turned professional after finishing in 5th place in the 2008 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. He has now won the Rookie of the Year award on his first full season on the PGA European Tour in 2009.
