Tri Golf TRI Golf - Aimed at beginner children between 4-9 years of age. Tri golf is a series of fun golf related games played with plastic clubs and foam balls. It develops the basic skills of getting the ball airborne, gaining distance, confidence and making new friends. These sessions are run on Saturday mornings throughout the warmer months. Seasonal sessions such as Santa’s Grotto will take place on the Saturday two weeks before Christmas from 10.30am. Booking is essential for all Tri Golf sessions. Telephone or e-mail the pro shop for more information. Payment can be made on the day before the session. Standard Tri-golf sessions will cost £5.00 per child per 40 minute session, and seasonal special sessions will cost £10.00 per child per one hour session, to include a gift and refreshments. Junior Membership Paul and Mark encourage all juniors to progress their way to full junior membership. The concept is to progress from Tri Golf for the younger children or the Open Junior Coaching Sessions for the older children and aim for obtaining a handicap. With this handicap the child can then take part in actually playing on the course in competitions or even playing for the junior team. There have been many junior members at Bristol & Clifton Golf Club who have achieved higher honours by playing for the men's team and also for Gloucestershire County Junior, Men and Lady Teams. Some have gone on to receive national honours. Junior golf is a great way to keep fit, learn disciplines and have fun in a relaxed environment.
