The Building The club now has modern changing rooms for the men and the ladies, a new kitchen, dining room and an entrance hall which shows a lot of the history and famous players of the club over the years. The lounge and spike bar have been fully redecorated and the old snooker room has been modernized and made into a junior room with a television and pool table, which all members can use when the juniors are not present. In the changing rooms we have individual showers for all and towels are provided. |

Club Bar In charge of all aspects of the House is Ray Pointer, who is extremely experienced at running bars and ensuring that the club gets the most out of the clubhouse and changing rooms. Ray is the main point of contact within the clubhouse and will be able to deal with all queries. Marcella helps Ray in the bar and again will help anyone with any problems. |

Kitchen Staff Antony Wiltshire runs the kitchen with a great deal of help from Sam Young.
Ant is a fully qualified chef and produces all the food for the club’s many functions and societies. Sam looks after the front of house. Any menu anyone wants can be produced by Ant and a copy of the general menu is here – in addition specials are available every day.
To book food or a dinner for large parties ring the kitchen 01275 394513 to discuss menus and the office will agree a date. |

Alfresco Outside the club has extensive numbers of tables and chairs so that drink and food can be taken on the patio in the fine weather. This area overlooks the putting green, the first tee and the 9th and 18th greens. On a summer evening the patio is a beautiful place to sit and watch the golfers return, and they even sometimes have a smile on their faces. |

History In 2006 the clubhouse was completely refurbished. The club spent £750,000 on updating almost all of the facilities in the clubhouse which was first built in 1899. During the refurbishment six different outside walls were found showing the number of extensions that have been put on over the last 100 years. Indeed if you look at the roofline it is easy to see all the different areas.
