Meet The Team At Bristol & Clifton we are fortunate in having some very dedicated and experienced members of staff. The main personnel are listed below. Please ask any of them, or other member of staff for help or advice. |
Charles Vane Percy - Managing Secretary Arrived early 1999. The person to speak to with all your complaints or queries. If he cannot help he will know someone that can! |

Paul Mitchell - Professional Paul has been at the Club since 1996, taking over as head professional in 2002. He runs a fully stocked shop which is used by all and sundry and has an especially good selection of Ladies clothes and equipment. He is also a renowned teaching pro. Any problems with your swing or just starting to play, Paul is the man to speak to. He coaches County team and County junior team members, as well as members from almost every Club around Bristol.
Please book in with Paul at the Pro’s shop before play to find out any restrictions on the course.
Please support Paul - he is our Pro and needs all the Members support. |

Matthew Hawker - Head Greenkeeper Matthew has been at the Club since 1989 and has been Head Green Keeper since 1998. The excellent state of the course and greens is down to him and his team’s hard work. It was Matthew who oversaw the installation of the complete new irrigation system which was done entirely by the green-staff. It took an enormous amount of hard work and team building to achieve it, but Matthew came through and so has the course. |
Andrea Mannion - Club Secretary Andrea is the other half of the Front Office and keeps all the staff (and Committee!) under Control. |

He will take bookings for social events, Sunday lunches and is a constant source of information on all aspects of the clubhouse and its maintenance. |
Antony Wiltshire – Chef Antony has proved to be really brilliant chef and has completely taken over all aspects of the food production within the Club. Sunday lunches are now provided every week and parties for members a speciality. To book your own party please check the date with the office and once that is confirmed speak to Antony to arrange any menu and details. Ray will ensure the day goes well and Antony will produce the food.
