Seniors Overview
The seniors' section at B&C is an extremely busy section. They play 36 matches against other clubs and the ladies and juniors. In addition they organise both summer and winter knock out competitions, winter leagues and various other cup competitions throughout the year. In addition they play a qualifying competition every month, on the last Friday, to enable those that don't play at weekends the chance to improve or not their handicaps.
The Seniors' Captain for 2008 is Fergus Lyons and, along with the other 100 plus seniors, he will welcome anyone who wishes to join the section.
There are all types of events organised by the seniors and the Open, held in June, is always a highlight as are the two away days when at least 50 of them go to sample the wares of other clubs.
