Practice membership - Use of the practice facilities and the clubhouse £160.00
House subscription – payable until 2014 £125.00 - This is waived for new members for their first two years. The House Sub is how the club has paid for the £800,000 refurbishment of the clubhouse which was carried out in 2005. This fee is shown on all bills and will be removed in 2014.
Subscriptions may be paid by instalments under a Direct Debit scheme over ten months or by cheque or credit card.
Entrance fee - There is an entrance fee of £850. This may be paid over 5 years interest free.
Members between the ages of 23 & 29 pay an entrance fee equal to the percentage of their membership. - ie. a 23 year old pays 35% of the subscription he therefore pays 35% of the entrance fee on joining.
The entrance fee means that new members help pay towards the £1 million that the club has put into the course, course machinery and practice facilities over the last ten years. Without this spend the club would not have the bore holes, the fairway watering, the new bunkers, the drained greens, the driving bays, the chipping green, the two practice bunkers and the other new facilities that B&C now has and many other clubs are looking to build and finance.
