Practice Facilities The practice facilities at Bristol and Clifton are among the best in the area. There are four different practice areas at the club which include driving bays, a full club ground, a short game area and of course a putting green.
Non-members can pay a small fee to use the practice facilities; £3.50 on weekdays and £6.50 on weekends. When using any of the clubs’ facilities please adhere to the club dress code i.e. no denim, smart casual. Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course but suitable footwear can be used on the range. |

Driving bays The driving range has 8 undercover bays, and range balls can be purchased from the pro shop at the price of £1.25 per 25 balls. For those who spend a lot of time hitting balls, a single payment of £125 gets you unlimited range balls for one person over a 6 month period. |

Short Game Area In 2003, £25,000 was spent on improving the chipping green and practice bunkers. This state of the art facility is kept to similar standard to the greens on the course and features undulations and elevation changes to help you sharpen all aspects of your short game. There are two practice bunkers and the area also includes a 50 yard pitching area for practice of your half wedge shots. Please do not practice pitching into the main chipping green – keep these for the pitching green; they are right together.

Full Club Area /Academy Course Bristol and Clifton also has an area where players may practice with any club hitting from a tee area into a field with 6 greens on at different lengths. These greens are also part of an academy course which is generally used for beginners and juniors learning the game to play as a pitch and putt course. Specifically this course is open on Tuesday and Sunday afternoons. But it can be used if nobody is using full clubs from the tee. |

Putting Green The club also has a putting green in front of the clubhouse which is treated exactly the same as all the greens on the course. |
