The starting system is now based on a cycle whereby 3 & 4 ball matches take 1 hour 50 mins for 9 holes. 2 Ball matches start from one tee and 3 & 4 ball matches from the other. There is a 30 minute gap in each 90 minutes when 3 & 4 ball matches may not start and a 15 minute gap when 2 ball matches may not start.
