Peter Murdoch wins Fry Cup by a mile!

Peter Murdoch had a gross 74 - net 62 - to win the Fry cup by 8 clear shots from Martin reed. Peter's extraordinary round came as a great shock to him aand all who know him! Three birdies in the round helped but he just played excellently and deserved his brilliant win.

Lets hope that he is able to repeat it.

The Steinberg Cup was a different matter. John Pope snuck a win on count back from John Garry and Alan Thoy. All three had 74's but he pipped the others on the back 9.

It is very good to see Alan Thoy playing so well after the terrible trouble he has had with his arm which is still not working properly.
